Currently guiding for Steelhead on the Klamath River in Northern California. Flows are good and the water temps are starting to cool. The recent rains have really turned the fishing around since last week. Conditions are good should only get better from here on into November. Over the last few days we have landed several nice adults swinging with the two-handed rods and traditional patterns like the Silver Hilton, Tiger paw, and Green Butt Shunk.
Give me a call to set up your trip.
For the Truckee area refer to last months report. It rained last weekend and cooled off a fair amount with the flows holding steady. Should be great fall fishing conditions. Have that extra cup of coffee before heading out.
See you on the water,
