Stillwater Boat Fly Fishing - Half Day

Service Description

The still waters of the Truckee/Tahoe area can produce greater variety, greater numbers, and BIGGER fish than the rivers. The fishing can be very active, it is not sitting there dunking worms with your granddad. Nymphing, topwater and streamer techniques are used depending on conditions. We practice catch-and-release fly fishing. For parties no larger than two. **Given the extra big winter that we have had in the Tahoe area, I will be working longer at Alpine Meadows than in past seasons. The snow is good and there will be some bigger runoff than normal. With that said, I will be working at Alpine through late May. While I have the dates blocked out on my calendar,` I will have some openings.
